ELECTRICIAN

Job Summary:
Responsible for safely repairing, replacing, maintaining, and diagnosing of electrical equipment and services for shops, offices, and field equipment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Maintain, repair, diagnose, and replace electrical equipment. • Perform work in the field and shop in all weather conditions • Must have own journeyman hand tools, Knife River will provide large or specialty tools. • Complete any necessary paperwork including use of basic computer skills • Follow Company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe work environment • Accurately complete work orders or other repair and invoicing documentation • Required to operate and maintain a company vehicle to perform field service repairs • Shifts may include some evenings and weekend work when required • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• 2 years of experience working with 110, 240, and 480 volts (3 Phase) electrical. • Knowledge of Control Wiring, Variable Frequency Drives, and PLC’s (Touch Screens) • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently or in a team setting • Good organizational skills
