Estimator - Asphalt Paving, Dirt Work

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for bidding public and private sector projects, performing reviews of plans and specifications, and providing estimates for a variety of projects. Once the projects are started, this position will also manage estimation/contract related items through completion.

Minimum Qualifications:
A successful Estimator with Knife River will have:

• 2+ years estimating, project management or equivalent field experience
• 2–4-year degree in Construction Management or Engineering in strongly preferred, but not required
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record

This position will require limited travel through Northern MN and North Dakota to visit project sites and meet with customers as necessary for preparing estimates. Per diem available and company vehicle provided.
