We have an excellent opportunity for a Shop Manager (Day Shift) at our location in Bend, Oregon!- The Shop Manager will coordinate activities of personnel engaged in repair and service of off Hwy equipment , crushing equipment, generators and trucks - Review requests for repair, help determine problems and recommend solutions - Schedule and assign work, coordinate efforts, provide technical guidance and review progress of all assignments - Communicate with the Equipment Manager daily - Complete all paperwork that may be necessary - Manage repair projects internally and with outside vendors - Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed - Other duties assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five plus years of heavy duty equipment experience with knowledge of trucks, generators and crushing equipment - Strong troubleshooting skills - Previous supervisory skills - Strong verbal, written and computer skills needed - Must be very reliable, able to work well under pressure and have the ability to organize and prioritize work - Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen - Display a professional and courteous attitude towards all team members
