Job Summary:
Account Tracking - This position will be tasked with being an outgoing person that can interact with current and future clients. The position will require interaction to maintain current relationships and to foster new company relationships with our current account holders. This will require pursuit of future development, upcoming projects and pursuit of potential customers to develop account status. The position will require staying current with the accounts receivables and to take actions on overdue accounts to bring them up to date. This could include customer interactions, lien notices and filing of liens. This will require a day to day knowledge of material sales and current customer account balances.

Marketing – This position will be tasked with being an outgoing person that can interact with current and future clients and customers. The position will require interaction to maintain current relationships and to foster new company relationships. The position will participate in local governmental and association meetings and functions. The ability to pursue and make contact with prospective customers, developers and engineers/land planners and work to introduce our estimating team for costing and estimating. The participation in job fairs, Build Montana programs and getting the Knife River brand into the community. Employee relations and promote employee interactions/functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's Degree or years of experience or equivalent relevant education/experience.
2. Minimum 1 year experience in the construction materials business.

Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous & respectful of others.
Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems.
Monitor and discuss accounting problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
Perform other duties as assigned.
General knowledge of the civil construction industry.
Ability to navigate computer software systems.
Build & maintain relationships with agencies & community leaders.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be capable of working in a self-managed work environment.
