We are looking for an Aggregate Prospector. This position is responsible for prospecting aggregate sources and coordinating activities related to securing the sources.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Minimum five years related experience and/or training, or
2. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure and acceptable driving record with ability to obtain Class A CDL with medical card.

Role Overview:
1. Find viable aggregate sources.
2. Knowledge of prospecting aggregates and mining regulations.
3. Understanding of natural resource exploration.
4. Survey property boundaries and pit boundaries.
5. Ability to read and interpret geological maps, soil surveys, well logs, sieve analysis’s, etc.
6. Assist with mapping and planning as needed.
7. Knowledge of exploration techniques such as drilling and core sampling.
8. Ability to conduct research and analyze data.
9. Help prospecting crew with all aspects of prospecting.
10. Assist in obtaining required State and Local Permits for new aggregate sources.
11. Self-starter that can prioritize heavy workload and work with minimal supervision.
12. Must be able to take initiative to communicate with landowners in a professional manner.
13. Travel and work out of town within a 5-state area when needed (MN, ND, SD, IA, MT).
14. Ensure MSHA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
15. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written). Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.
